I thought the recent programme "Johnny Vegas: Carry on glamping" was excellent. It showed the real Johnny and how hard he works, keeping busy with many acting and directing projects. It also showed how pushing one's self too far physically and mentally can totally exhaust you to the point of having to stop working for a spell. He can be very difficult to work with, judging by the making of the series, but everyone he worked with still fell in love with him and did the job they signed up for. If ever I decided to try glamping, I would not hesitate in renting "Pauline" the ex-school bus for a week or perhaps "Oscar", the ex-Puma helicopter.

The six-part series "True Love" was also good drama. As with all TV dramas, and any novel, the script in places was a little suspect, but overall, the plot was good and the acting excellent. I did not foresee the ending and the message behind the script; that of the dilemma of assisted dying, was well worked and is a current topic ( Esther Rantzen's campaign).
